Bob Kauflin (1955– ) is an American Christian songwriter, worship leader, and author known for his work in contemporary congregational music. He has played a significant role in shaping modern evangelical worship through songwriting, music leadership, and teaching about the theology and practice of worship in the church.

Kauflin was born in 1955 in the United States. During his youth he developed an interest in music and performance. In the early part of his career he was involved in musical theater and entertainment, experiences that helped shape his musical skills and stage presence. In the late 1970s his life direction changed when he became a Christian and began focusing his musical gifts on serving the church.
