The United Methodist Hymnal (UMH)
The United Methodist Hymnal (UMH) is the official hymnal of the United Methodist Church, published by The United Methodist Publishing House in 1989. It contains a large collection of traditional and contemporary Christian hymns for use in worship. Most major database entries include a detailed index listing of hymns by number, first lines, tunes, authors, scripture references, and more. The UMH includes hymns arranged by number, usually starting with service music (responsive readings, canticles, etc.) before moving into congregational hymns.
